What is Mom's Night Out?

Mom's Night Out is an event focused on the moms of Lighthouse East. Our goal is to give moms some time to fellowship and grow relationships with each other without the hustle and bustle of all the kiddos around.

There is a sign up sheet available in the Well and at all the summer meetings if you think you might like to host a MNO event.

Past events have included: a recipe exchange/potluck evening, a getting to know you at Panera Bread's party room, tea parties, and just hanging out at someone's house...casual potlucks are very easy to do!

Mom's Afternoon Out

Hey Momma's!

This Saturday, December 1st, 2012 you are invited to afternoon tea being hosted by Sarah Bradford-Burton at her home! All you have to do is bring a washed, wrapped, tea cup & saucer to swap with another mom...and you'll learn something new about tea parties too!

 Update: we had a lovely time! We're planning another one very soon in case you missed it!

Mom's Night Out and Chili Cookoff

Ruth Bethea is hosting our October Mom's Night Out event at her home. You should have received an email with the address and directions.







New date:
Friday, November 9th,  6:30-9:30 p.m. Moms Only (we welcome dads too!)

Everyone please bring a recipe or two to share with our group to promote menu planning and new ideas for our busy lives as homeschool moms. 

If you want to make a sample homemade dish of your recipe and bring it we can do a mini potluck. Totally not required as there will be plenty of food. Just a fun night of fellowship and then add the menu planning to make it a fruitful evening where everyone can leave w refreshed energy to cook for our families and get copies of several recipes. 
A copier is available to make copies for those who would like the info.


And don't forget to join us for this year's chili cookoff on October 27th!

Mom's Night Out Information

Wondering what M.N.O. stands for? Well, it's Mom's Night Out...an event for Mom and/or Dad to hang out with other co-op moms without their children. We hope to have many of these nights throughout the school year. We hope you'll come out for each night we schedule to make a new friend, fellowship, eat yummy food, and relax away from the stress of being a homeschool momma!
