I have compiled a list of cute and useable planners...one is from last year but it is still relevant. If you'd like to add to the list just leave the link in the comment section!
Most of these are completely free, while others may ask you to sign up for their newsletter or something like that.
Tina's Dynamic Homeschool 7 Step Curriculum Planner has many resources on her site. Most importantly you can choose the pages you want to use, so you don't have to download and print everything. Saves ink and time!
Donna Young has TONS of options for free planners
Another great way to find planners is to go to Pinterest (if you dare!). Just type in "homeschool planner" in the search box and you'll get hundreds of images to choose from. Here's the direct link: http://pinterest.com/search/pins/?q=homeschool%20planner

P.S. I am also working on some printables/curriculum assists that can go hand in hand with the Wild Kratts series from PBS. Many of these brilliant programs are available on Netflix also.
Have you tried The Magic School Bus? Also available on Netflix and free on YouTube. There are some free worksheets and curriculum ideas that I've found. I will post about these next week so stay tuned!
